Refund policy

Last updated 5 October 2026

What YGOPROJudge refunds, what it does not, how to ask, and how long the money takes to come back. This policy sits alongside the statutory rights you have where you live — it never replaces them.

The short version

Ask within 14 days of a purchase you have barely used and we refund it in full. Anything that went wrong on our side — a double charge, or a payment that never delivered what it bought — is refunded whenever you find it.

Who issues the refund

PayPal processes payments on YGOPROJudge, but we are the seller, so refunds come from us: we issue them through PayPal, back to the PayPal account or card you paid with. To ask for one, write to the address below. You can also open a dispute in PayPal’s Resolution Center under PayPal’s own buyer protection; that works too, but writing to us first is much faster.

Once we issue a refund, PayPal returns it to what you paid with. To a PayPal balance it arrives the same day; to a card or bank account it usually takes up to five business days, and a credit card can take a billing cycle or two to show it. PayPal’s refund help has the detail.

The 14-day window

A subscription’s first charge or a credit pack is refunded in full if you ask within 14 days of paying and have used little or none of what it granted — as a rule of thumb, no more than a tenth of the credits it added. Past that, we can still refund the unused part at our discretion, and we often do; just ask and say what happened.

By what you bought

  • Subscriptions. You stop the renewal by cancelling in your PayPal account (our terms say where). Cancelling leaves your plan running to the end of the period you have already paid for, so a part-used month or year is not refunded by default. A renewal you did not intend is refunded in full if you have not spent that month’s credits and tell us within the 14-day window.
  • Credit packs. Refundable while the credits they added are still unspent.
  • Monthly credits that reset. Credits are granted monthly and do not roll over. An unused pool at the end of a month is not refunded — it is what the plan sells.

Always refunded

These are our mistakes, and there is no time limit on them:

  • you were charged twice for the same thing;
  • you paid and the plan or credits never arrived in your account, and we cannot put it right;
  • you were charged after cancelling;
  • the service was unusable for a meaningful part of a period you paid for.

If a purchase has not appeared in your account, write to the address below with the PayPal transaction ID (it is on PayPal’s receipt and in your PayPal activity) before anything else — most of the time we can simply deliver what you bought straight away.

Your statutory rights

Consumers in the EU and the UK have a right to withdraw from a distance purchase within 14 days. Nothing in this policy limits that right, or any other right you have under the consumer law of the country you live in.

Where we say no

We refuse a refund where the credits have plainly been consumed, where an account has been refunded repeatedly, or where a purchase is tied to a breach of our terms of service. We will tell you why.

Please write to us before opening a PayPal dispute or a chargeback with your bank. Either takes far longer than a refund we can issue the same day.

How to ask

The contact address for refund requests will be published here shortly. In the meantime, you can raise the payment with PayPal from your PayPal account, through its Resolution Center.
