Judge summary

Judge-facing facts

  • Cannot be activated during the Damage Step.
  • The continuous effect does not start a Chain Link and applies immediately, even during the Damage Step.
  • While you control a face-up monster, you cannot Normal Summon, Flip Summon, or face-up Special Summon a monster with a different Attribute. You can Normal Set or Special Summon face-down.
  • If a player controls 2 or more Attributes, they must send monsters to the GY until they control 1 Attribute.
  • Sending monsters to the GY is an action imposed on the player, not an effect applied to the monsters. Monsters unaffected by Trap effects must still be sent to the GY, and they are not treated as being sent by a card effect.
  • If a monster is flipped face-up or changes control, resulting in 2 or more Attributes, the monster that newly appeared face-up on that field is sent to the GY.

Card-specific notes from database

  • (Konami neuron) If a face-down monster with a different Attribute is attacked, it is flipped face-up before damage calculation and sent to the GY after damage calculation. It cannot activate effects that trigger when flipped or after damage calculation.
  • (Konami neuron) A face-up monster with multiple Attributes is sent to the GY. You can Summon such a monster, but it is sent to the GY immediately after its continuous effect applies.
  • (Konami neuron) You cannot attempt to Special Summon (e.g., Link Summon) a monster of a different Attribute, even if the current monster would be used as material.
  • (Konami neuron) You can activate an effect that Tributes your only face-up monster as cost to Special Summon a monster of a different Attribute, provided you have a legal target of your original Attribute to activate the effect. Once the cost is paid, you control no monsters and can Summon the different Attribute.
  • (YGOResources) If an effect Special Summons a monster that is treated as a matching Attribute in the GY but reverts to a different Attribute on the field, it can be Summoned, but will be sent to the GY immediately after.
