Judge summary

Judge-facing facts

  • Quick-Play Spell Card. You can only activate 1 'Forbidden Droplet' per turn.
  • This card can be activated during the Damage Step, from the start of the Damage Step up until before damage calculation.
  • Sending cards to the GY is a cost. You cannot activate this card if an effect like 'Macro Cosmos' is applying.
  • You cannot send Pendulum Monsters from the field to the GY as cost (as they would go to the Extra Deck), but you can send them from your hand.
  • You can send a Spell/Trap Card that is already face-up on the Chain (e.g., a Normal Spell activated as Chain Link 1) to the GY as cost to activate this card as Chain Link 2.
  • You cannot send more cards to the GY than the number of Effect Monsters your opponent currently controls.
  • You can choose a monster whose ATK is already 0 and/or whose effects are already negated.
  • If the number of Effect Monsters your opponent controls at resolution is less than the number of cards sent as cost, no part of the effect is applied.
  • This card negates effects that activate or apply on the field. If the chosen monster activates an effect and leaves the field as cost, that effect is still negated. It does not negate effects that activate in the GY.
  • The text preventing the opponent from activating cards or effects of the same original type in response is not treated as an effect.

Card-specific notes from database

  • (YGOResources) If a Trap Monster is sent to the GY as cost, the opponent cannot activate Trap Cards or effects in response, as its original card type is Trap.
  • (Konami neuron) If applied to a monster whose ATK was modified by its own activated effect (e.g., 'Accesscode Talker'), its current ATK is halved; when this card's effect expires at the end of the turn, the monster's ATK reverts to its original printed value.
  • (Konami neuron) If applied to a monster whose ATK/DEF are determined by its own Continuous Effect (e.g., 'Gren Maju Da Eiza'), its current ATK is halved, but its DEF becomes 0 because the effect determining it is negated.
  • (YGOResources) If a monster with a Continuous Effect allowing multiple attacks has its effects negated by this card during the Damage Step of its second or subsequent attack, the battle continues and damage calculation is performed normally.
